to see the top of a tree or building through the tube ,we have to tilt the protractor up. the string would still be perpendicular to the ground ,because of the weight . the angle between the string and the 90 degree line of the protractor is the angle of evaluation

 Inauguration of Mathematics Association and Pie Day Celebration

     We along with our juniors conducted the inauguration of the mathematics association and celebrated pie day on 12-03-2021. The inauguration was done by Sri. Riju John, staff secretary of our college. As part of the pie day celebration, we conducted a quiz and some interesting games. It was a nice day.

Women's Day Celebration 

    We celebrated women's day in our college on 8th march monday. The programme was entitled "Phoenix". The function was inaugurated by Srimathi. Aisha Potti, MLA. After the inaugural section, B.Ed. trainees conducted many cultural programmes.It was a memorable day in the B.Ed. life.

Peer Teaching Practice Phase 2 : 22/02/2021 - 04/03/2021

 Peer Teaching Phase 2

    As part of two years B.Ed. curriculum, we had a teaching practice section in the fourth semester. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, we were unable to do the teaching practice. So in order to solve this, we conducted 15 peer teaching sections in our college. The peer teaching section was conducted from 22-02-2021 to 05-03-2021.  For that, we were divided into 10 groups, each having 5 members. My group members were Anu Elizabeth Antony, Linta, Janany, and Shehinaz. 10 classes were taken in online mode. We choose google to meet as a platform for this. Another 5 classes were taken in offline mode. I took another 3 classes to practice CAM, ITM, and Constructivist model from 0-3-2021 to 08-03-2021.  It was really a different experience.

    As part of the National Science Day celebration, we conducted an online quiz competition for B.Ed. students. Students from different colleges attended the quiz. It was a great opportunity for all to brush up on their knowledge.

Community living camp 15/02/2021 - 10/02/2021

 Community living camp

    As part of two years B.Ed. curriculum We conducted a community living camp as an extension service to the community. It was conducted from 15th to 19th February 2021 at our college campus. The camp entitled "Explore 2021". The whole camp was based on the theme "Explore the Endurance" and each session was based on the sub-themes such as explore the exquisite, explore ourselves, explore dexterity, explore the mind and explore nature. 

    The camp was inaugurated by Sri. A. Shaju, the municipal chairman. A total of 50 students were divided into 3 groups and conducted the group activities such as stage decoration, cleaning, food service in each day. 

    Eminent personalities like Dr. Shaji (Assistant professor in Computer Science, SAS College, Konni), Sri. Brahmanayakam Mahadevan, Dr. S. Anand (Clinical Psychologist) and Sri. Punnapra Jyothikumar took the sessions. We also conducted cultural activities and a gaming section. On the last day, We had a trip to Mano Meadows, Kottayam. It was a very useful camp.

Online teaching practice phase 2 - 27/01/2021 to 4/02/2021-

    Teaching practice which is the integral part of B. Ed curriculum was conducted through online platform google meet due to the covid 19 pandemic situation.

The students allotted were the 8th standard students from the PSVPMHSS, Ayravon.

It was really a new experience for us. All the students were active during the class and gave proper responses. The chapter selected was "Ratios".

We discussed the concepts and worked out all the problems during the class. To make the class interesting, i used presentation slides, videos etc.

The use of white board nade them feel like a face to face classroom.
